Desa Gemalai brings organic paddy farming and ecotourism together in Lubuk Jambu. Walk the sawah, cycle, ride an ATV or relax at the café. The cooperative also farms organic paddy at other locations.

Welcome to
Desa Gemalai.
Where natural beauty meets the harmony of village life. Set across 5.583 hectares in Lubuk Jambu, Kelantan, Desa Gemalai is an agro-ecotourism destination operated by Yusri Maju Sdn Bhd under the patronage of Yayasan Ahmad Albab.
Since farming began in June 2023, our organic paddy fields have flourished without chemical fertilisers or pesticides. Fish ponds, chicken and duck enclosures, and a water reservoir that sustains the sawah form a landscape full of life.
Grasshoppers and dragonflies, catfish and eels, siput kicau snails and kingfishers: each brings its own rhythm to this living ecosystem. Here, caring for the land means making room for the life it holds.
